| TAPMI is an autonomous institution that
does not depend on external funding for its operations.
Governance of the institute rests with the Trust and the
Governing Council. The Governing Council, chaired by Shri
K. K. Pai is responsible for evolving broad framework
and policies, while the Board of Management Studies provides
valuable advice and guidance in academic and industry
related matters. Eminent members drawn from the academia,
industry and business constitute these bodies.
Prof. D. Nagabrahmam, a Fellow of IIM, Ahmedabad, is
currently the Director of the Institute. He joined TAPMI
in 1992 and has provided the leadership necessary to
enhance the reputation and recognition of TAPMI
