and characteristics. The College of Business, University
of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Oshkosh is located in the United
States of America - the world’s largest entrepreneurial
economy from where much of the world’s business
originates and is driven. The University of Applied
Sciences, Darmstadt is located in Germany - a major
industrial powerhouse in Europe and one of the strongest
developed economies of the world, noted for its efficient
technology and heavy engineering capabilities. The T.
A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal is located in India
- the world’s second fastest growing economy and
the hub of technical service, presenting new frontiers
of opportunity for business.
The collaboration among these three institutions brings
together the strengths and experiences of each into
the GMBA program.

Accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate
Schools of Business), the College of Business, University
of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWOSH), has been the home of quality
and innovative higher education for over 125 years.
Since its inception, UWOSH has attracted visionary leaders
and thoroughly dedicated faculty members, steadfastly
evolving from a teacher’s training institute to
the multi-dimensional university
it is today.
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is located just
three hours north of Chicago and is situated along the
shores one of the largest fresh water lakes in the country.
The University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany
Founded in its present form in 1971, the institution
is an innovative university which is an integral part
of the academic landscape in the city of Darmstadt.
But its history goes back further. As early as 1876
the colleges of architecture and civil engineering,
that now are part of the university, opened their doors
with the Grand Duchy of Hesse as a patron.
With 10,000 students, two major campuses,
11 departments and more than 41 different study programs,
the University of Applied Sciences today is the largest
practically-oriented university in the state of Hesse
and one of the largest ones in Germany.
The close co-operation with industry and research institutes
plays a key role in the university's teaching and research.
Effective organization of studies, a clear practical
bias from the beginning of studies, internationally-oriented
education and success-oriented commitment to the fields
of research, development and continuing education make
up the university’s basis of success and have
become its well established trademark.

The youngest of the three institutions, TAPMI is among
the top 15 b-schools in India and one of Asia’s
top-rated business schools. Equipped with facilities
at par with the best institutes globally, TAPMI has
been accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation)
and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council)
in India. TAPMI is currently in the process of being
accredited by the AACSB.
TAPMI operates a Centre for Executive Education (TAPMI
- CEE) at Bangalore. This centre offers short-term and
long-term programmes for working professionals. The
On-Site course of the Global MBA Programme
is conducted at this centre.
